๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Orville LPC-75 Alpine White 1996 MIJ Les Paul Custom ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

A seriously cool piece of Japanese Gibson history here. This 1996 Orville LPC-75 in Alpine White is one of those guitars that instantly has โ€œthe lookโ€ before you even plug it in. Aged white finish, naturally worn gold hardware, Gibson open-book headstock and that unmistakable Les Paul Custom attitude throughout.

Built in Japan during the golden-era Orville years, this one features a carved maple top paired with a mahogany body and mahogany set neck, giving it the rich, weighty response youโ€™d expect from a great LP Custom. The rosewood board feels superb and the guitar has just had a full set-up, restring and adjustment prior to arriving with us.

Tonally, this thing absolutely delivers. The original Orville humbuckers have that classic late-90s Japanese LP voice with loads of midrange punch, warm neck tones and a cutting bridge pickup that still retains clarity. Big sustain, chunky rhythm tones and singing lead sounds all day long. These MIJ Orvilles have become hugely respected for good reason and many players genuinely prefer them to modern production alternatives.

This one weighs in at a substantial 10lb 13oz, giving it that reassuring solid Custom feel without being ridiculous. It resonates brilliantly acoustically and feels like a serious instrument in the hands.

Condition wise, itโ€™s clearly been played and loved over the years. There are plenty of small dings, marks and finish wear throughout as photographed. The gold hardware has faded beautifully with age and there is lacquer checking/discolouration around the binding and neck joint areas. The most notable cosmetic issue is a chip/binding loss at the top edge of the headstock with exposed wood visible. Importantly, this is cosmetic only and the guitar remains structurally sound and playing great.

The truss rod still functions correctly. Frets currently have plenty of life left and the guitar plays really nicely with a comfortable low action.

A fantastic example of a proper 90s MIJ Les Paul Custom with real character, ageing and vibe that simply canโ€™t be faked.

Basic. Simple. Works.
Size: Medium Capacity
I've been wanting a toaster oven for simple stuff, like warming up frozen rolls, broiling an open faced sandwich, etc. Nothing fancy. Not looking to roast a chicken, bake a cake, etc. Just something for when a microwave won't do (you need crispy) and you don't want to heat up the whole kitchen by firing up a big oven (especially during the summer in Florida). This little appliance does the trick. Heats up instantly, no pre-heating. Melts the cheese on an open faced sandwich in just a couple of minutes. Has a crumb tray for easy clean up. The controls are super basic. I mostly use the toaster timer, which makes a hilariously retro ticking sound (apparently it uses an old-fashioned mechanical timer), and just watch through the glass window to see when things are done, since cook time is usually just a couple of minutes for what I'm doing. No digital displays or controls. Really basic. Which also means really inexpensive. Controls weren't immediately intuitive, but by "immediate" I mean that it took me all of a minute or two to figure out how to make the toaster oven do what I wanted. Simple. I already have a full-size oven for serious baking, so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars and take up a lot of counter space for a fancy appliance. This simple, small, inexpensive toaster oven is just what I needed -- basically a horizontal, enclosed toaster, just like I remember from the good 'ol days.

Perfect for College Students
Size: Medium Capacity
We purchased this for our kiddos at college. So far it has worked great. They are able to cook small meals and it toasts well. They even use it to air fry! It also cleans up well and you can't beat the price!

Great little toaster oven!
Size: Medium Capacity
Great little oven! Heats up quickly, gets very hot very fast. Unit is small so donโ€™t plan on preparing large amounts of food. This is a very lightweight oven that takes little counter space. Do be careful NOT to touch while in use as it very extremely hot!

Love da' Mini Oven
Size: Medium Capacity
I LOVE this Mini Oven thingy. And, for a while, I had this reluctancy to even purchase one of these for some reason. But now that I have one, convinced by my wonderful current roommate that this would absolutely be a necessity, I gave in and bought one! What I really dig about this mini oven is that it lights immediately, it's fast, easy to use, easy to clean and efficient to bake, toast, broil!
