The Fender Limited Edition Suona Jazz Bass Thinline represents a harmonious blend of traditional and modern design elements. With its semi-hollow body, this model captures the iconic Jazz Bass sound while providing a lighter, more resonant tonal quality that redefines the bass playing experience.
The body of this bass features a top made of Italian Alpine Spruce, known for its resonant and responsive qualities. The semi-hollow ash back and sides add warmth and resonance while reducing the weight—providing a more comfortable playing experience. The bridge is a 4-Saddle HiMass, enhancing sustain and resonance.
This Jazz Bass Thinline showcases a roasted flame maple neck, offering an incredible tone and a stunning visual aesthetic. The neck sports a modern "C" profile, providing comfortable playability. The 34" scale length ebony fingerboard features a compound radius (7.25" - 9.5") and is equipped with 20 narrow tall frets. There are no inlays on the fingerboard, which adds to the clean, minimalist look of the instrument.
The electronics of this bass feature custom-designed Suona single-coil Jazz Bass pickups at both the bridge and middle positions, offering a wide variety of tonal possibilities. Two volume controls and a master tone control allow you to dial in your perfect sound.
Finally, the Violin Burst finish, coupled with a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, makes for a truly stunning instrument. All this comes with a deluxe blonde hardshell case to protect your investment.
