ICON 2023-2024 Toyota Sequoia, 3-4.5" Lift, Stage 8 Suspension System, TubularThe ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 complete suspension system for the 2023 2024 Toyota Sequoia helps to free up the rear suspension movement while gaining strength and ground clearance with the addition of ICON billet aluminum rear lower links. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 complete suspension system for the 2023-2024 Toyota Sequoia helps to free up the rear suspension movement while gaining strength and ground clearance with the addition of ICON billet aluminum rear lower links. This system offers improved on- and off-road performance, with significantly increased rear shock performance and heat dissipation, as well as improved alignment specs and increased front-end lift height range for a proper stance and fitment of up to 35" tires. To compliment the billet aluminum rear lower links, a 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilover shock and tubular steel front upper control arm combo is included along with a front sway bar drop kit, dual rate rear coil springs and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks.

This Stage 8 system features the 2023-2024 Toyota Sequoia VS 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers. These adjustable coilovers allow up to 3-4.5” of lift height adjustability over stock when using the ICON billet front upper control arms, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON’s Vehicle-specific shock length and valving along with the larger 2.5” shock body and increased piston area over stock components yield the maximum travel possible (up to 40% increase over stock) along with superior ride quality and suspension performance both on- and off-road. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade.

The included ICON tubular upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the 2023-2024 Toyota Sequoia with corrected front-end geometry, built in additional caster, and improved suspension component clearance. Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the all-new, serviceable, and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind.

The included sway bar drop brackets help minimize sway bar link bind through the suspension travel range. This helps the suspension move more freely and allows for the full range of wheel travel without overstressing any OE components.

ICON tubular steel adjustable rear lower links are made from 1-3/4 x .313 wall DOM tubing and a multi-stage black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. This rear lower link arm kit features PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased suspension articulation, reduced deflection, and link arm length adjustability. Additionally, multi durometer bushings are installed that allow for noise free operation and maximum angularity without the need for periodic greasing and/or other maintenance.

The dual-rate rear coil design provides a softer ride height spring rate with a firmer overload rate that combine to deliver on-road comfort with excellent bottoming resistance and superior off-road performance. 3” of rear lift height over stock allows a for level stance front to rear.

Rounding out the Stage 8 suspension system are 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks specially tailored for the 2023-2024 Toyota Sequoia. The 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. They also feature a unique internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force to help better control hard bottom outs. Their pairing with the ICON V.S. 2.5 Series front coilovers results in balanced vehicle control from front to rear and an excellent overall driving experience for your Sequoia.

Helpful Tool Kit for MerCruiser Maintenance
This tool kit made servicing the gimbal bearing and checking engine alignment much easier than improvising with generic tools. The machining looks solid and the tools fit properly with MerCruiser components. Helpful set for anyone doing their own marine maintenance work. Definitely useful to have around for sterndrive service jobs.

Saves So Much Time, Perfect Fit On Mercruiser Pre-Alpha Outdrive.
This is a very useful kit. Perfect fit to exchange and align the gimbal bearing on a Mercruiser MR/Pre-Alpha Outdrive. The metal rods are strong and well machined to fit the gimbal bearing and the template lines up great with the housing studs. The overall production quality is very good. Great value because the tools are very durable but for me the biggest value is the time saved. I had the bearing out in about 10 minutes. The ability to line up the bearing before attempting to attach the outdrive upper gear unit is very convenient and saves so much time. This are simple tools, very easy to use.

Works well. You need to drill a 3/8” hole
Appears to be well made, alignment bar slides in nicely. As stated, you need to drill a hole in the bar for the gimble bearing driver, the directions are not clear, what I did was before I take out the old gimble bearing, put an O ring on the bar close to the last step on the bar, slide the bar all the way in, then carefully slide the bar out, this marks the distance from the back of the gimble bearing to where the shaft on the outdrive bottoms out, move the O ring a 1/4” towards the stepped part of the alignment tool (this is so you won’t bottom out the alignment tool when driving the gimble bearing in) then slide the driver puck up to the O ring and use a 3/8” diameter transfer punch through the side hole in the puck to mark the bar. You need to drill a 3/8” diameter hole in the alignment bar, two V blocks, some clamps, and a drill press will make drilling much easier, after the bar is securely mounted and centered in the drill press, use a center drill, then 1/4” drill first, using plenty of oil, drill all the way through, then use the 3/8” drill, deburr both sides and you should be good to go. People complain that it doesn’t come pre-drilled, the reason is that not all out drives are the same so you have to fit it to the outdrive that you have. Fortunately, I have a machine shop at my house and have a jig setup with various drill bushings, but the method I described above should work for you. Just make sure you’re perfectly centered and secure before you start drilling.
