Our brass bottle openers are cast using the World’s oldest casting technique known as sand casting. Our craftsman based in Northern India, firstly work the design into a clay form which is then dried and set into a casting box using a sand and clay mix that sets solid to create the shape of the design sample. Once ready, brass is melted until molten and poured into the mold to form the brass sculpture. This process shows the real provenance and slow made effort that is invested in each and every piece. Before sending out every piece is hand polished in our studio to a high shine finish, packaged and sent to its new home.
