Description:

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, the digital disruption of business by the information and communications sectors, is well underway in Australia and around the globe. The COVID-19 pandemic has only accelerated the pace of change. We are witnessing a proliferation of new platforms and new markets, with AI replacing human expertise – we are seeing the transformation of the firm, how we work and the nature of society. These seismic changes are all impacting the global distribution of economic growth and income. And alarmingly, among the OECD economies, as a share of GDP, Australia's ICT sector is around half the average, and falling further over time – it is second-last, only above Mexico. Given the scope and speed of change, Australia is now confronted by a stark choice between becoming a tech innovator, and so a producer of economic profits and high-paying jobs, or stagnating. We are at a crossroads, and our policy choices today will determine whether we remain one of the wealthiest and happiest nations in the world, or see our global position continue to slide.

InThe Digital Revolution: A Survival Guide, Professor Simon Wilkie argues that, to preserve our status as one of the most desirable economies to live in, we need a policy revolution that addresses not just universal basic income, but tax policy, lifelong education, social inclusion and the nature of work. In short, the Fourth Industrial Revolution has the potential to usher in a period of sustained prosperity and increasing equality. But to achieve this demands no less than a rethinking of the social contract.

Cute, different, and good quality
I had these for my kids when they were little. I am now buying them for my first grandchild. They appear to be the same good quality they were years ago. I highly recommend : )

Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps
Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them. He seemed to like them, never tried taking them off and they were easier to walk in than socks but for some reason the top of the foot area is HUGE! They stayed on no problem but lots of wiggle room in the top... He is now running and wears shoes with a thicker sole for the rocks but we still love these for inside when it is too cold to go barefoot. I would say the 12-18 month fit like an average size 6.

Great barefoot option for early walkers!
Size: 12-18 Months Infant, Color: Grey
A moccasin is such a great place to start! Buying barefoot shoes can be hard.. they’re not always the cutest, can be expensive & there’s a lot to pay attention to! We love moccasins as a great first shoe for our boys. Perfect for summer because they’re more like a sandal & let in air flow. Why we love: ✨Meets barefoot-style checklist ✨SUPER inexpensive ✨Quality made & last a long time ✨Lots of style & sizing options ✨Breathable ✨Easy to put on & take off ✨They protect feet all while still giving a sensory experience These ones do run big, so size down. If you’re looking for a shoe that has more grip on the bottom, there are tons of moccasin style shoes with grip as well. Give these a shot if you have a fresh walker on your hands!

Great shoes for first time walkers!
Size: 12-18 Months Infant, Color: Grey, Size: 12-18 Months Infant, Color: Grey
The material is great! My child likes it and hasn’t tried to take them off! They are lightweight and not bulky. Very flexible ! Also I did my research and it’s made in the UK and made with genuine leather! The color is cute as well! Wish they did have more variety here in Amazon but still okay with it!

Cute, soft, comfy
Size: 6-12 Months Infant, Color: Navy
I wanted a leather sole shoe for my ten month old daughter for playing outside this summer so she could have protection for her feet without a hard “supportive” shoe inhibiting her ability to learn to balance or affecting her feet as the bones continue to develop. These are perfect, they are soft and easy to put on. The elastic in the ankle holds it on without being too tight and it doesn’t dig into her skin at all. Provide protection and grip as she learns to walk and are not too bulky at all. I got the 9-12 month size and it has enough room to accommodate a chubbier foot than my daughter has, but still fits well and looks adorable.
