Torv is a durable waxed trekking trouser built for mountain trails, off-grid journeys, and the rough ground between. Named from the Old Norse torv — “turf, earth, ground” — it’s a piece cut from the ground up itself: rugged, functional, and steadfast. 

Built from a 65% recycled polyester, 35% cotton blend, Torv balances durability with weather resistance. A PFC-free DWR and wax finish sees off wind, dirt, and showers, while double-layer reinforcements at the knees and seat deliver long-term protection.  

Pre-shaped knees and articulated patterning improve mobility over rock, bog, and broken ridge. Press-stud ankle adjusters seal in warmth and block the ingress of dirt, moisture and snow, while internal boot hooks lock securely to footwear. Cleverly engineered low-profile elastic and Velcro waist cinches haul in tight with a quick pull, giving on-the-fly adjustment in a matter of seconds, for a secure, stretch-comfort fit under load. Additional elastic strap adjusters at the leg hems allow instant adaptation to terrain, footwear, and movement. Seven secure and hard-wearing pockets - including dual map-sized thigh pockets - provide versatile storage on long adventures.
