Indications

Dose:
- Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily.

Each tablet contains:

Allergen Information
- No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds or artificial colours.
- Vegan friendly
Excipients
Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, dextrin, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.
Warnings:
- Warning that St John's Wort affects the way many prescription medicines work. Please consult with the prescribing doctor to ensure no drug-herb interactions occur.
- Caution is advised in patients taking other medication, including combined oral contraceptives
- Contraindicated during pregnancy, lactation, in hypertension and oedema
- May cause hyperaesthesia in some sensitive individuals, especially when combined with a high exposure to sunlight
- St John's Wort is not advisable in cases of known photosensitivity and in those taking photosensitising agents. Patients taking high doses should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and UV radiation
- Contraindicated with the following drugs: thiazide or loop diuretics, warfarin, digoxin, immunosuppressive drugs such as cyclosporin, indinavir (HIV protease inhibitor), nevirapine (HIV non-nucleoside transcriptase inhibitor), docetaxel by injection, phenprocoumon, nifedipine, methadone, finasteride, clozapine, cancer chemotherapeutic drugs such as irinotecan and calcium channel antagonists such as verapamil
- Caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives
- Avoid long-term use in patients taking antihypertensive medications and potassium-depleting drugs and place patients on a high-potassium diet
- Consume at least two hours away from ingestion of mineral supplements
- Not to be used in children under five years of age
- Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
- If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice
