BMW has a knack for maintaining their stake as the benchmark when it comes to performance luxury vehicles, with the F8X generation being no exception. The S55 that powers the 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition is dripping with technology, which includes an air-to-water intercooling system for a means of keeping cool. Where BMW's intercooling system design was enough to help bring this generation of mid-sized M's to their peak, we here at Mishimoto found some weaknesses that we felt obliged to improve on. The Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Intercooler Power Pack looks at strengthening the weaknesses in BMW's design starting with the charge pipes. It's a common problem with the factory plastic charge pipes to crack under pressure, or split at the seams, a less than idea situation as you pilot your M3 or M4 in any situation. We created a brand new design for the charge pipes that inspire more confidence in handling the boost pressure. Our design features a full aluminum construction, with a cast mid-section designed specifically to squeeze past the intake. Our charge pipe kit also includes a pair of matte black silicone couplers for a sleek and secure connection to the intercooler. The non-descript silver box is out and the stylish new Mishimoto Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler is in. With a stylish new look, our new design fits perfectly, both in terms of installation and aesthetic, in the M3 and M4's engine bay. The beauty is more than just skin deep too. Our improved core design features a bar-and-plate core with a 29-percent increase in core volume, as well as a unique single-pass coolant flow layout for optimal heat transfer. Combined with our 16-percent increase in flow through the core we were able to record a 12 F temperature drop in intake air temperatures while testing our full Power Pack. Great alternative to wood blocks

So I’ve used wood over the years to level out my Class A RV’s and even with the wood sealed, there is always one side that takes a beating. I figured I would try these Camco rectangular leveling blocks and was very surprised at their strength. I’ve only used them twice, but both times the RV rolled right up with no issues. The RV sitting on those blocks in the picture is a 40’ Tiffin diesel pusher. My only issue is the dual wheel base for this big RV, is too wide to use the blocks perpendicular to the wheels, so I had to use 3 blocks parallel (see pics) for each wheel, which required me to purchase two sets. Most sites I setup up at fairly level, but this just provides that little extra height if needed.

A Must-have for Double-axle Travel Trailers

I moved from a diesel pusher motorhome back to a truck and Lance travel trailer. ‘Done with Diesels’ is my new motto. I wanted to check the wheel bearings and couldn’t find the proper way to jack up the side. Some people said jack here, some said jack there, and some said never to use a jack at all, so I was confused. Decided to use some of my leveling blocks and build a ramp to drive up onto and that ended in failure. Either it wouldn’t go up without spitting it out and still wasn’t high enough. I resorted to jacking it up at the spot I thought was best, but wasn’t comfortable with the entire side supported with a small bottle jack cylinder. So I ordered this and it was well worth the wait. Trailer pulls right up onto it and the other tire is ready to work on. The weight is more evenly distributed and certainly feels safer. Obviously this won’t work for a single axle, but for double axles it works for maintenance and makes tire changing a breeze. It’s as good as everyone says it is and has a permanent place in my trailer storage compartment.

Works exactly as stated with a dual axel trailer

I purchased this on a hope, I had a trip planned to pull a school trailer 2600 miles round trip and had to use my pickup truck jack if I had a tire issue. I didn't like my odds and bought this ramp hoping it would make things simpler.
My second day into driving and I had my first tire blow out. The ramp workers perfectly and I had the new tire on the trailer in 15 minutes. Later in the day, I caught a second tire on the trailer down to threads and used the ramp again to change out tires at a truck stop.
I analyzed all the "whys" as to what made the tires blow and fixed it to make the rest of my trip safe and trouble free but this ramp made things quick and easy when i needed it. I'd totally recommend this product and I'm planning to purchase another and leave it with the school trailers for future use.
Keep in mind you need at least a dual axel trailer for this to work and have a spare tire to swap to.
