This sparkly peridot and sterling silver ring is handcrafted and made to order. Wear it by itself, or customize a stack of skinny bands and coordinating gemstone rings - the possibilities to mix and match are endless. 

In folklore, vibrant green peridot is said to promote good health and restful sleep; it is thought to balance emotions and mind, and bring delight and good cheer - as well as help in dispelling nightmares. It is also said to be a powerful aid to repairing friendships through rocky times. In ancient times peridot was prized for its ability to inspire eloquence and creativity. A stone of renewal, its lively green hue is thought to attract love and calm anger by giving rejuvenation to all things.

Peridot is the birthstone for August, and is also the traditional stone for celebrating a 16th wedding anniversary.

 

Inspiration: The "marvelous spiral" - spira mirabilis - the epitome of mathematics in nature. In geometry, a logarithmic spiral represents regular repeated growth. One of the wonders of the natural world is the way in which physics and mathematics leave their fingerprints so beautifully - as illustrated by the Golden Ratio spiral of sacred geometry.

Game changer!!
This stuff is amazing! I bought it because there was somewhat of a trend online saying glycolic acid is great for girls with sensitive skin. I’m inclined to agree because I have very dry, sensitive skin and this product works very well on my face and my legs (post shave). This is meant to lightly exfoliate the skin, so if you’ve just shaved your face or skin, a day later, this is great to put on to help prevent any irritation. Also, this is good for dry skin! When I have some dry patches on my face, I buff the dead skin off very gently but thoroughly. Then I use this toner to help prevent it from coming back. I was skeptical this would work because my skin is so extremely dry sometimes, but it really works! It was perfect for doing my makeup with. I use it every once in a while if I need any extra exfoliating. Do bear in mind, though, it smells really bad. I think it’s the witch hazel or something, but the product by itself smells quite gross. Definitely put lotion on a few minutes after it absorbs into the skin. This is a great product and I’m very happy with it. 10/10 when used wisely.

I am NOT saying this is a "dupe" or that they are the same in any way because they definitely have different ingredient profiles... so don't come for me... But what I will say is that if you like the first aid beauty radiance pads but don't like the price tag then this may be a cheaper option for you. This is my second bottle of this toner and 3rd tub of pads and for me personally they perform the same. The Thayers is a little stronger of an exfoliant so if you have sensitive or dry skin do a patch test to see how your skin handles it. I use it in the morning after I wash my face. It gives my skin a nice glow, removes dead skin and anything left over after washing my face and just like the radiance pads helps my makeup lay so much better. I have cotton tissues that are smooth on 1 side and textured on the other that I use instead of cotton rounds. I pair it with the Thayers milky toner, maybe some other hydrating toners, a serum, a gel moisturizer and always SPF and even without makeup my skin looks amazing and healthy all day. This is also a 12oz bottle and lasts a long time because you don't need to use a lot for it to do it's job.
