As with so many 2-player strategy games, Man in the Moon begins with a placement phase followed by a movement phase. The capturing method is what's called a "custodial" or "flanking" capture in which a piece is surrounded on two side to capture it. The adaptation works very well and is fun for gamers of all ages.
